My favorite part about working at the Q House has been supporting high school students on an individual level, connecting them with volunteer opportunities or helping them access college prep resources. I've also especially enjoyed planning and hosting events at the Q House. Seeing how much joy and engagement they bring to the New Haven high schoolers has been so rewarding!

As someone who was very involved with and inspired by youth community organizations in my home city of Lawrence, MA, my favorite part of interning for the Q House is being able to mentor high school leaders in New Haven who are passionate about planning youth centered events that strengthen their community in fun and meaningful ways!
